Exclusive and accessible art project for independent artists

SUPPORT FROM ART AND ARTIST IS IMPORTANT FOR OUR ART PLANET TO TURN INTO A FAIR AND HAPPY LIVING SPACE. WE ARE TAKING A NEW STEP WITH THIS CONSCIOUSNESS.

Sponsorship activities started in the past with art guardians. Kings, rulers, noble and wealthy families protected talented artists in order to increase their prestige in the society in which they lived. Today, this important task is taken over by brands. They turn to sponsorship activities to win the hearts of consumers and create a positive image. We as Leo’s Cafe know that we cannot take on such a responsibility as sponsorship.

But we thought that of course we can do something and learn. Then we decided to open the walls of our cafe and part of our website to bring artists and art lovers together.

We see this initiative as an “investment in the future” strategy, like in our kitchen business. Furthermore, we take into account the fact that culture and art are an integral part of life and one of the most important drivers of social development. In this sense, we want to pay our respect to culture and art, to the cultural spirit of the Stoke Newington – Dalston neighbourhood in this shop with its more than 100 years of history. We care about our artists who keep the spirit of our area alive. We also trade with them in mind.

A FIELD THAT REQUIRES ART, WORK, PATIENCE, RESOLUTION AND NATURALLY PASSION

IT MAKES US HAPPY TO TAKE A STEP TO FACILITATING THIS SITUATION.

One of the main problems artists face is being confined to narrow platforms and not being able to reach out beyond a specific audience.

We want to have the experience of being one of the new channels that bring the energy of artists into society. Existing channels are useful, of course. We hope to join an existing one and broaden the field.

The most important support that can be given to an artist is to expand the field of art.

Every contact with art is directly reflected in social development.

We will provide an opportunity for many young artists who face various obstacles in the production and exhibition phases of the art world to express themselves and present their works.

With this project that we will be doing through Leo’s Cafe, its walls and its website, our environment will also be beautiful. Why not our cafe, our street, our avenue, our neighbourhood and more?
